Nairobi Tented Camp
Upon arrival at Nairobi, transfer to Nairobi Tented Camp, located a few kms out of the city centre where you can enjoy this uijque safari location – out in the bush but close to the city and have the chance to visit the elephant orphanage.
A flight will take you to Amboseli where the next two days take you on activities to visit a nearby Maasai village and a chance to gain an insight into the life of a local community by the Selankay Conservancy and perhaps learn about some of the challenges met. Enjoy game drives to see some of your first wildlife encounters and experience plentiful wildlife sightings such as huge elephants, big cats,giraffe, zebra and gazelle with the backdrop of the iconic Mt Kilimanjaro as well as taking part in sundowner and night drives to spot nocturnal game
Your flight takes you onward to the ol Pejeta Conservancy located in the foothills of beautiful Mt Kenya. Your next days are spent on game drives and game walks but also with the opportunity to track white rhino or exciting lion tracking. Perhaps also visit the sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees to see the wonderful primates and learn about conservation of the region and species found here
Your next nights are spent at Meru National Park and enjoying game drives where open plains are dotted with mighty baobab and acacia trees. Search for a wide variety of animals and over 400 recorded species of birds. The park is popular, known for its natural beauty and in particular made famous as the home of Elsa, the beloved lioness made famous by Joy Adamson and the bestselling book Born Free
The Masaai Mara is home to a wide variety of species from huge numbers of plains game, to elephants and predators, including resident leopards found in Ol Kinyei Conservancy – spend time exploring this region in the chance to spot these incredible big cats, along with other predators such as wid dog. Join game drives, picnic lunches and sundowner drives with knowledgable Masai guides in this exclusive conservancy renowned by its savannah plains, riverine forest, rivers and rolling hills.
A return flight will take you back to Nairobi where you safari comes to an end
